Mick from Dublin was on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and had already won €500,000.
“Just one question away from a million!” said the host. “You’ve only got one lifeline left — phone a friend. Want to go for it?”
“Sure, why not!” Mick replied.
The million-euro question was:
Which of these birds does NOT build its own nest?
a) Sparrow
b) Thrush
c) Magpie
d) Cuckoo
Mick wasn’t sure, so he called his best friend Paddy back home.
“Paddy, which bird doesn’t build its own nest?” he asked.
Without hesitation, Paddy said, “It’s the cuckoo!”
“Are you certain?” Mick asked.
“Absolutely positive!”
Mick went with the answer — and won the million euros! 
Later that night, he stopped by Paddy’s house to thank him.
“Paddy, how did you know the cuckoo doesn’t build its own nest?”
Paddy grinned and said,
“Because he lives in a clock, of course!”
