Two blondes were driving along the highway on a sunny afternoon, looking for a nice place to stop and have a picnic.
They had packed sandwiches, drinks, snacks, and a blanket, and both were excited to relax for a while.
After driving for some time, the first blonde pointed to a large tree near the side of the road.
“Let’s stop here,” she said. “We can have our picnic under that tree. It looks shady and peaceful.”
The second blonde looked at the tree, then looked at the road.
“No,” she said firmly. “Let’s have it right here in the middle of the road.”
The first blonde stared at her. “In the middle of the road? That’s crazy!”
But the second blonde insisted. “Trust me, it’s better here.”
They argued back and forth for a few minutes, until finally the first blonde gave in.
So they parked, spread their blanket right in the middle of the road, and began setting out their picnic.
Suddenly, a car came speeding toward them. The driver slammed on the brakes, swerved wildly to avoid hitting them, and crashed straight into the tree.
One blonde looked at the other and said, “See? If we were under that tree, we’d be dead now!”
