A Texan was sitting in an Arizona bar, enjoying a cold drink, when his phone suddenly rang.
He answered, listened for a moment, and then his face lit up with pride.
“Bartender!” he shouted. “Drinks for everyone! I just became a father!”
The whole bar cheered as the bartender started pouring.
One man asked, “Boy or girl?”
“A boy!” the Texan said proudly. “A big, strong, healthy Texas boy!”
“How much did he weigh?” someone asked.
The Texan puffed out his chest and grinned.
“Twenty-five pounds.”
The bar went silent.
“Twenty-five pounds?” the bartender said. “That can’t be right.”
The Texan laughed. “That’s how we grow ’em in Texas!”
Everyone shook their heads, amazed.
Two weeks later, the same Texan walked back into the bar.
The bartender recognized him immediately.
“Hey, you’re the guy with the twenty-five-pound baby! How’s the little fella doing now?”
The Texan took a slow sip of his drink and smiled.
“He’s down to seventeen pounds.”
The bartender blinked. “Down to seventeen? What happened?”
The Texan leaned forward with a smirk and said:
“Let’s just say… he had a little operation.”
