A trucker walked into a truck stop café and placed his order.

“I’ll have three flat tires, a pair of headlights, and some running boards,” he said.

The brand-new blonde waitress, not wanting to seem clueless, hurried to the kitchen and told the cook, “There’s a guy out there who just ordered three flat tires, a pair of headlights, and running boards! Does he think this is an auto parts store?”

The cook chuckled and said, “Relax! ‘Three flat tires’ means three pancakes, ‘a pair of headlights’ is two sunny-side-up eggs, and ‘running boards’ are two strips of crispy bacon.”

“Ohhh, got it!” she said, relieved.

She thought for a second, then grabbed a bowl of baked beans and served it to the trucker.

Confused, the trucker asked, “Uh… what are the beans for, Blondie?”

She grinned and said, “I figured while you’re waiting for your flat tires, headlights, and running boards… you might as well gas up!”
