Former ‘Days of Our Lives’ actor Cody Longo dies at age 34; cause of death disclosed

At the age of 34, Cody Longo passed away. He was most known for his 2011 Days of Our Lives role as Nicholas Alamain. Alex Gittelson, who represented him, made the announcement.

Now we know what caused his death. According to TMZ, Longo died as a result of ongoing alcohol use. The autopsy report that TMZ obtained states that he passed away naturally as a result of “chronic ethanol abuse.”

Cody was a good friend before he was a client. For his loving wife and kids, my heart breaks. He had stepped away from acting to concentrate on his music career and spend more time in Nashville with his family. Even still, he and Gittelson had been in touch on a regular basis, and he was ready to go back into acting.

Gittelson praised Longo, describing him as a “loyal, loving, and talented person” who treasured his family, including his wife, kids, and followers. He was cast to portray Luke with Chelan Simmons, Garrett Clayton, Tiffany Hines, Jordan Hayes, Hayley Hasselhoff, and Robert Vito in the upcoming film Killing Games.

Cody Longo, who occasionally went by the name Cody Anthony, was a very talented singer and actor. He played keyboards for a group called Forever the Day from 2010 until 2012. He broke up the band and signed a deal with Mirrorball Entertainment for a solo career.

Over the ensuing years, he released a number of singles that were famous, including his debut hits “Atmosphere,” “Falling Into You,” and “She Said.” He had already made a name for himself as a popular actor by participating in a number of well-liked motion pictures and television programs.

In October 2015, Cody wed Stephanie Clark, his true love. Over the past seven years, the couple had welcomed three children: a 19-month-old son named Noah, a 5-year-old son named Elijah, and a 7-year-old daughter named Lyla. They posted photos of their children on a regular basis.

Cody meant the world to us. Along with the kids, I am utterly sad and shattered. He was a wonderful parent and father. After learning of his passing, Clark issued a statement that read, “We will always and forever miss and love you. His legacy will live on thanks to Stephanie, Lyla, Elijah, and Noah.

Even though Cody Longo had just recently turned 34 years old when he left, he had already made a significant amount of life and career accomplishments, some of which have already been acknowledged. He played the dancer Eddie in Hip Hop Kidz: It’s a Beautiful Thing (2006), and he played Dave in Ball Don’t Lie (2008).

2009 was a successful year for the actor thanks to performances in Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, Fame, Medium, Make It Or Break It, and Three Rivers. The next year, he replaced Joe Jonas on Brothers & Sisters and had roles in High School and Piranha 3D. He has since appeared in a number of further TV shows and motion pictures.

His most notable acting accomplishment, in my opinion, was playing Eddie Duran in 78 episodes of Hollywood Heights. While his final TV appearances were in Nashville, The Catch, and Secrets and Lies, his final film appearances were in Death House and Rich Boy, Rich Girl.

Unfortunately, the 34-year-old spent the last few years of his life struggling with alcoholism, which led to his passing on February 8, 2023. He was detained and accused of domestic assault in addition to being charged with sexually assaulting a child. He will always be missed by his family and friends.
