When her ‘Rapunzel’ sibling was born with amazing flowing locks, a young girl who had always wanted a sister so she could play with her hair finally got her wish.

Mother-of-two When Gabriela Caneva, Denica Caneva’s daughter, was born on April 30, 2017, she had a full head of thick, black hair that stood on end.

The toddler’s unique bouffant hairstyle, according to the 34-year-old, grew as she did, and Gabi, who is one, now has a shiny shoulder-length mane.

Denica and her 43-year-old husband Zvezdelin Zaharinov, who manage a business together in the field of commerce, were astounded to learn that their older daughter Ivona’s ambition to play with a sister’s hair had been fulfilled in such a remarkable fashion.

On her Instagram feed @gabi_zaharinova, which has thousands of followers from around the world, Gabi, a local superstar in her native Sofia, Bulgaria, is often compared to Rapunzel.

Denica recalled, “I was impressed when I first saw Gabi at birth, coupled with the long, thick hair she had been gifted with.

Ivona has started having frequent dreams about her.

“Mummy, when will I have a sister so I can play with her hair?” she would ask me every day.

Gabi appeared like if she had just left a storybook, therefore her wish had become a lovely reality.

Nurses claimed that they had never seen a newborn baby with such long hair; she undoubtedly stood out from the other infants.

Ivona’s godmother, who is six years old, gave the family a photoshoot as a gift for the newborn, and as a result, the family and Gabi became well-known for their amazing hair.

The images went viral after being posted on Facebook, resulting in a deluge of supportive remarks and similarities to other fairytale figures.

The Rapunzel comparison is the one that Denica felt best fit Gabi.

“I wasn’t aware she was that different before the public started to respond.

People turn to look at her and smile when we go for walks outside.

Apart from her beautiful hair, Gabi is known for her captivating smile and enjoys being the center of attention.

Denica claimed that she liked spicy cuisine while she was pregnant, but she doesn’t believe this contributed to Gabi’s long hair.

Ivona had only fluffy “baby hair,” as most babies do, when she was born, so she has no idea where her mop came from.

Denica stated her daughter enjoys having her hair washed, combed, and dried and that she only styles the toddler’s hair using the best hair products.

We are quite fussy when it comes to hair products, she remarked.

“We make foam bubbles and put them all over our little Rapunzel’s hair, and she really loves it when we wash her hair.”
