A married couple were asleep when the phone rang at 2 in the morning. The wife (a blonde), picked up the phone, listened a moment and said, “How should I know, that’s 200 miles from here!” and hung up.
Curious, the husband said, “Who was that?”
And his lovely wife replied, “Some woman asking if the coast was clear.”
The husband jumped out of bed in a panic and shouted, “WHAT?! And you just hung up?!”
She rolled over, pulled the blanket up, and said calmly, “Relax… if she doesn’t even know where she is at 2 a.m., that’s not my problem!”
The husband sat there in stunned silence for a moment… then burst out laughing when he realized his wife had treated a wrong number like a top-secret spy mission.
